Need some opinions. i just got a Seio620 and was wondering where the best placement would be for my tank. It a 29gal( 30x12x18 ). Right now i have 2 powerheads in the back corners aiming towards the center of the front glass. I want those out of the tank. Should I put the seio in a corner and aim it towards the center? or on another angle? What do you guys think? Any advice/opinions welcome. Thanks

The thing you want to be critical of is that you limit the amount of dead areas in your tank(no water flow). IMO, the best wat to position your powerheads is to place them in the back of you tank and have the powerhead flow so that the water bounces off of the front and side glass and therefore allows you a better water disbursement. Moreover you don't run the risk of having a strong stream of water hitting a coral(s) causing decreased polyp extension , or possibly injuring one of the more meaty corals(brains) by its flesh being reoved from its skeleton, or having a coral get knocked off where it was positioned and land on another coral possibly injuring or killing one or the other.
i would also run a powerhead along the back glass(lengthwise to add movement which would probably get neglected by the live rock. I would possibly rearrange some of you live rock so as to allow good waterflow between you liverock to help remove detritus from accumulating/offer oxygen transfer and food transportation.
    Hope this helps!!!!

thanks.. Thats what I was thinking. Just wanted another opinion. As for the powerhead along the back, I allready have one, and soon after I added it, I saw a drop in nitrates.
