you know, those sand harmit crab that sometimes are sold in the malls, or petco. The big guys, living on sand instead of water.

How do you care for them? I was interested in having more pet, but with very small investiment, and these guys I thought of. Any idea how to care for them?
Also are there like pet, crabs? like the harmit crabs?
but that looks like crabs..like..crabs..? living in sand?

Oh you said one more pet. I thought you meant one more pet to have in your well stocked tank.

I looover hermit crabs I used to have lots when I was a kid :) so cute. they always changed shells. they are very easy to keep. You can just buy them pellet food at petco and you need a natural sponge and fresh water, you can give them salt water too. They love to climb so you will need some branches or net they can climb up. They need to be misted every day too. Cool pets easy to care for not very expensive either. Go for it :)

They don't require any special lighting no :) Very simple pet! Plus they are cute and you can get cute little shells for them to change into. It looks really cool with some sand in there habitat, you can see where they have walked around :)

yeah hermit crabs are really fun and easy to take care of, they dont even excrete waste, the hardest part is probably misting them or giving them water in a sponge ;D lol have fun
