yep that's spot feeding. how often are you doing it??

 

Well, for all my softies, i feed every other night I would say.

 

dude you don't have to feed them that often. If you have enough flow in your tank and you feed your fish quality food, the corals are going to get fed. The only coral I ever spot feed in my tank is my chili and I don't that that very often. Feeding your corals that often could really cause some nutrient issues in your tank.

 

Ah okay. Thanks for the info. So should I cut back to every 3 days or so?

 

try a hammer, frogspawn, or a xenia candy coral is pretty good too, I wouldn't recommend any acros as for now. send us some pics you know!

 

I am not nearly as exact...I mix food in lots of water, and use a turkey baster and just blast the whole general area of coral I am feeding.

Don't know if really necessary, but corals are thriving and gives me satisfaction somewhat in doing...:-/

Anyways, not the best pics ever, and the water still hasn't cleared from the sandbed, I washed it and all that good stuff, only a few hours. I'll get some pics tomorrow afternoon maybe.
