    rippling effected. i really want to do this i find it so cool to the eye.
    do you need power heads if so i have 4.

    does anyone know how to do this.

    What kind of lighting do you have? It won't work with T5s. Works great with metal halide and LEDs.

    Do you mean shimmer? If you have MH or LED point a PH towards the surface. If you have T5 there's no way to get much shimmer effect.

    I have MH and it works..You need MH or LEd to do it.

    You just have to watch what kind of LEDs. We had strip LEDs for a while, and the evenly spaced little bulbs made it look like there was a disco ball going in there LOL. Not a good look!
