    Do you rinse your chaeto?
    Why, or why not?

Do you use freshwater or saltwater?
    Why?

Does anyone have any facts on how rinsing chaeto affects your pod population?

    Thanks in advance

I would only rinse it if there was a specific reason to do so
say a build up of cyno on it which could deprive it of light

I would rinse it in a bucket of tank water at water change time
and whilst some pods would be lost
in a healthy fuge that population would quickly establish itself IME
