I usually feed once every day some frozen. I read someone who feed 3 times a day separate times as long as their is no algae and you keep the protein skimmer clean. Will feeding more often benefit fish and corals versus once a day.

Personally; I feed once a day and have been told that is too much.

So - my eel's get a little snack every day before I feed the corals (some of which are target fed various types of food like the Duncan's and Pagoda Cup and Gorgoniains and sun coral)

... if I don't feed the eel's they try to take the Mysis from the coral's.

A lot of the coral only need to be fed every few days. These are things like Frog spawn, torches, leathers, and acan's (and others too) don't need much to survive.

There are so many differences between reef critters and fish ...

I don't have many fish - but they eat a very small serving of flake a couple times a day and a little something meaty in the evening.

I have been told that if you feed them EVERY DAY ... they stop doing what instinct makes them do. like gobies that sift gravel are said to quit if they aren't hungry ... I am not sure - but my Lawnmower Blenny isn't mowing any more!

I feed a little more then once every other day, like ( Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday)

I do add stuff like marine snow (which i dont count as feeding) every other day, and sometimes i do over one feeding a day if i have a small, baby fish i am trying to "nurture."

I feed the fish everyday a little pinch of the HBH flake food and the corals 4 days a week at night.

Feeding requirements are highly variable according to your livestock, specie, and filtering efficiency. My tank is fed twice a day, morning & evening and I consider this a lot but necessary because of a certain fish which tends to focus on corals if allowed to go hungry.
