I've had FOWLR for awhile now. I'd like to get into reef stuff. I was advised there are corals or such (I'm not sure what other terms mean, Sps, etc.. So I use corals as a general term)

    Here's my stocking list

    Bluejaw trigger
    Niger trigger
    Humu Humu trigger
    Flame angel
    Blue face angel
    Toby puffer
    Mandarin
    Snowflake eel

This is a 75 gallon tank. According to my LFS book, all fish are rated min 75 or under. The tank doesn't seem crowded and the fish interact with each other normally. I'm not adding anymore though.

I'm currently lighted by a aquatic life 48 inch(? I'll have to look at the box when I go home) light. Two are 10k 65w and the other two are actinic blue 65w.

What can I keep that is extremely hardy and requires no maintenance other than me feeding the fish? Thanks.

What type of lighting is your fixture? t-5, power compact? Also, if you hover your mouse over acronyms, you will see a definition pop up. Hover your mouse over these --> sps, lps, lol

Could be wrong, but I don't believe your corals will last very long in that tank with those fish.

Agreed. I don't believe that the triggers, puffer, or blue face will be able to coexist with coral and inverts. And the flame angel is a risk with coral. It could go either way.

He has a T5HO lighting unit.

The Bluejaw is supposed to be reef safe. The eel is reef safe as is the Mandarin. The Flame Angel is 50/50. The rest are not considered reef safe. The Niger is 50/50 also I believe.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Anthelia?

It's fairly easy to find and fairly cheap if you get it from the right source.

I suppose you could give a try and see if they develop a taste for it.
