reef safe crabs

    Qick question if any one can tell me which crabs would be reef safe.

    most hermits ( all of them that i Know) are reef safe and can come in pretty cool colors like orange or electric blue stripes. theres also emerald crabs which i personally like they do a good job keeping your tank free of bubble algae. take a look on a few sites and they usually list if they are reef safe or not.

    I would say +1 to porcelin's. Past that opinions vary greatly as crabs like any livestock have the potential to do whatever they feel like. I have had no problems with my sally lightfoot & emeralds, where other have. I would say to research the individual type of crab you are considering and go from there.
