    you should be ok, snails and hermits hardly add anything to the bioload and once in there, will start to eat stuff that would decay and produce ammonia anyways.

    I don't like the turbo snails because they get really big and get really clumsy. Clumsy snails knock over corals and it will drive you crazy. If I were you I would look into getting astrea snails and cerith snails. The astreas go nuts in the tank and are pretty good at getting around corals.

    I agree. my turbo snail knocks over my Xenia and mushrooms all the time. It tries to mess with the anemone too, but it gives up after a while. He is the size of a golf ball. I'd rather have a couple smaller ones, and the big one. It gets a lot of algae on its back.

    +1 to that and the statement on turbos. They are bulldozers for sure!

    I have a horrible story, just four days ago i woke up to water noises and a snail climbed into my protein skimmer and blocked the water flow exit causing it flow onto my carpet, also a few times knocked over a few corals. Hahaha
