Not sure if this is in the right section, im just setting up a 2ft cube tank with sump, 300ltrs, i have a bubble magus reactor that im going to use bio pearls in, and also a aqua medic ozone 50 that im going to connect to a bubble magus skimmer with a t bar, question is once the tanks warm salted and pumps turned on should i also run the reactor straight away with the ozone, alongside the skimmer, and if not then when?

    Thanks in advance...

It injects Ozone through a airline into the skimmer and improves skimmer performance while keeping the water crystal clear

+1. Ozone has an additional molecule to oxygyen (o3). If the level is too high you can actually smell it (like the air after it rains). I ran it years ago with my FO aquarium. You have to make sure the airline you use is rated for ozone. Also, not sure if it still applies, but back then it was suggested to run the output of the skimmer thru GAC to remove excess ozone before pumped back into the system.

Given the above information, I'd be cautious to run it. If your tank is new, you really could probably start off without reactors. If you have a good skimmer and do regular water changes, you may not need them. You could then run them after your tank is up and running for a bit. I'd definitely be cautious with anything that messes with oxygen on my tank. Just my .02.

Makes sense, i'm gonna run the tank on return pump and 20kg of live rock with skimmer on, (bubble magus nac 3.5) then say 6 months down the line add the reactor and ozone...
