    I agree with everyone. you have a ways to go. because it sat dry for so long everyting died off in it and is not rotting and givin life to new bacteria colonys. wait until ammonia and nitrite hit 0. your nitrates will then start to rise when it hits about 50 id say put your rock into the 30 gallon. I would then test for at least a week on that tank to be sure everything is good.

    are you curing your sand with the rock now? if not you may have to wait on that to settle even after your rock.

    yeah im curing the rock and sand right now but since i rinsed it with the hose the sand is filled with phosphates but the rock isnt so i have to get new sand..
