    Do they come with an arrive alive guarantee? If so I'd say that's a pretty sweet deal.

    Without seeing pics of the actual corals, it is hard to say exactly how good a deal you are getting. It does sound like a pretty good deal though.

    Most SPS frags of 2-3 inches will run $20-$30
    Most colonies of 4-5 inches will run $50-$90

    There's no arrive alive deal....its from someone else who is breaking down their tank in WV and gonna ship to me in CT overnight.

    Do you think they will ship well...he said he is going to triple bag them and insulate them with overnight shipping?

    I am really worried about the shipping....that is why I am trying to get the biggest pieces I can so the survival rate is better ....right?

    Here is a pic of his main tank where the corals would be coming off of.

    Ewww...
    Well unless you know this person personally I'd be vary careful then. It'd be real easy to send you pics of good healthy corals and send you crap. $350's a pretty good chunk to risk.

    * vary lol...VERY even

    WV is not that far, you could drive down friday night and stay in a hotel, have him pack as if shipping and then drive home saturday afternoon. should take about 6 hours by the posted limits :jester:

    That would not go over too well with the wife and daughter. They look at me weird when I drive almost 2 hours for a coral.

    Could be worth the drive....but may not be worth the trip...(yogi ism);D

    While in that pic, many of the corals look decent, but they also looked bleached a bit, be aware of that. If that's what you're getting, it's a good deal, but remember, shipping that many corals is hard to do with one package and the larger pieces will most likely break. I've shipped small frags with no real issues, but for pieces that are 4-5", they most likely won't show up that size. Maybe pick out a few choice pieces and just buy them.
