qt tank set up...

    well I have been looking to get a 10 or 20 gallon tank and set up a hospital/qt tank. what all do I need to to set this up and can I put fish in the tank same day I put water in it. do I take care of it just like my display tank..? I don't know much about qt set ups so all info would be appreciated.

    also I believe my hippo and mimic tang have ich they show signs of flashing and black spots and a rusty dust spots over parts of the body that I am getting sick of looking at and reading about. so I would like to treat them in the qt tank as well.

    great info link not only did I find out about qt tanks but found out my tang has lymphocystis, not ich.
