Hello. I am currently setting up a 29 gallon reef tank with a 10 gallon sump. I plan on using two pumps connected to a Ocean Pulse Duo Wavemaker to provide the majority of my flow. What pumps do you all reccomend for this? I am relying on the wavemaker and pumps to provide the majority of my flow in the display tank instead of the return pump. I have heard that the maxijets change polarity with a wavemaker... blowing one cycle and sucking the other cycle. I do not want a pump that changes polarity when run off of a wavemaker. Are there any pumps that would work well with the Ocean Pulse and what flow rate would you reccomend?

Maxi jets wioll work or maybe a pair of hydor korialls, but with the hydors make sure you buy the right ones(they have a different line that just came out to allow you to use them)
    also maybe two tunzes 6025

Save money and go MJ's with the JBJ ocean pulse. Exact same set up I have on my tank (minus the mod kits). I am VERY pleased with it.

My mj's are modded and I can't use a wavemaker. Everytime they start up, the blade runs backwards for a few minutes.

I probably will go with the maxijets. I plan on putting one at each end of the tank. What flow rating should I use to create adequate movement in my 29 gall. tank? I was thinking the 900 or the 1200 but I've never used either one. What flow rating? Thanks.
