pump making noise

    I think its the pump that goes with my chiller but as of late it seems to be making a louder humming noise than I remember. Everything seems to be functioning properly, no big deal or more inevestigation needed? Its located ib my dump and would be just feeding water into my chiller. I have another pump next to it feeding the intakes into the tank, but I don't think that's makeling anymore noise than usual

    could be a problem with a pump or maybe its something rattling. if it were me i would do some more investigating. if its you find that its not something rattling i would pull the pumps apart and inspect the impeller and other parts, just to be sure. Good luck.

    Unplugged it...looked at it now it doesn't kick back on

    If it was me I would take it out, disassemble it, and soak it in a bucket of vinegar over night. Then clean it up and rinse it off. Reassemble it and see what happens. Good luck.
