It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Rubble first, disk second. I hate plugs with a passion. If your corals are not encrusted my recommendation is to give them a couple days to acclimate and then re-attach to where you want them, and what you want them attached to, at least for the short term.

I agree with Corailline's post completely. I prefer to attach my coral without a plug or disk.

I hate plugs also I only have one (but have a perfect place for it) in my tank (new blue coral) the disks aren't to bad but they don't seem to go good anywhere. I was just asking because when I start to frag some corals I wanted to put them on small pieces of rock but wasn't sure what people liked better.

Rubble then disks. Both can be broken to fit. Those stupid plastic plugs don't do much but get in the way. Why don't we find the first person that decided to make the plastic plugs and stone him with them?

I just had one that was on a plug fall off the epoxy I set it with. I took my dremel tool and cut it so it was flat. Rubble is definitely my first choice.

Here's the thing about plugs: awful for the buyer, but best for the grower/fragger. They won't fall off a frag rack, short of a super invert carrying them away.

If I buy something on a plug and i don't want to remove it from the plug, I take out the diamond dremel wheel and turn the plug into a disk. :)

Rubble, all the way. As said, disks don't really fit anywhere and a lot of plugs don't, either. Unfortunately, the people fragging don't really care LOL.
