I currently have 1 medium sized Percula and I want to add 3 small Yellowtail Damsels. I understand that I have to exercise caution with Damsels (aggressive nature), but I have also read that Yellowtails are the least aggressive of the Damsels. Since the Perc is bigger, and was in the tank first, the damsels shouldn't act too territorial, being the noobs, IMO.

    Any advice?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would give it a try. Since the clown is larger is should be fine. My yellow tail had to be removed because the clownfish was beating it up.

I love yellow tail damsel, they are beautiful.

Some damsels can be quite nice while young, and then when they grow up they turn into murderers. May not be the case with this fish. Just something to chew on. I spent 4 hrs trying to catch a damsel that was attacking all my shrimp. I detest them, so I may be biased.

You may be ok, especially with 3 new fish. I love my yellow tail and he's never been a problem to any new addition. I think they get a bad rap.

Thank you everyone for your input :)
I think I'll pull the trigger if these 3 fellas are still at my LFS. They've been there for at least a month, alone, in a pretty large tank.
