Pajama Cardinal Bullying

Hi all,

I have three pajama cardinals that were all placed in our 55 gal tank at the same time about two months ago. Two are larger than the third. All friendly until a couple of days ago when one of the larger ones started attacking the smaller one. It was hiding out quite a bit yesterday, and today I notice it is a bit ragged. Not sure what to do, or if it will work itself out. I certainly don't want any more dead fish!

Not sure about this one but I had 3 banggai cardinals in a 65 and within a few months 2 started to pick on the 3rd and I eventually had to remove the one being picked on. Turned out I had a mated pair with the 2 remaining so it's possible yours are doing the same - just a guess!

 

Same thing is happening here - your gonna have to remove the one getting bullied before its killed.

 

You half to get rid of the bullied or the bullies.

 

3 is not a good # to keep. Get rid of one.
