What I did on my Oceanic 28g was placed it in the center where the filter material is, and got media bags and placed the bioballs in that chamber and a small bag in my first chamber, then I just stuck a piece of filter pad in my first chamber. I found that the cartridges that came with the tank just clogged up way to fast! I personally think that is the best nano-skimmer I have seen!

The only way it will fit(width wise) is if i cut the ears off that hold the 2 body halves together and i will also be blocking more than half of my overflow intake off,i've studied it pretty hard and don't see a way.On the threads i've searched where people mentioned having this skimmer in a jbj,not one explained the mods required, not only that,i'm just afraid of butchering it.On the tank, what parts that would have to be cut away,if it don't work,i won't be able to put it back stock or use the media basket. But i won't smashy,i'll just sell it to buy the jbj one,but it does suck because not only all the good reveiws i've read on it,now that i've seen it,i'm very impressed with the quality and the price!!Almost makes me want to sell the nano so i can keep the skimmer!;)
