That will be fine it's really whatever you want to spend. Personally I would do 100% dry because there will most likely be critters living in that rock that you don't want in your tank.

i bought his key largo with his sales right now i would do the 40lbs of sand his sand is super fine and believe is gonna be great in my up coming 75g also it comes with 40lbs of his key largo rock also and you can request what sizes you want. then you could get the on sale 50lbs and that would give you a good start i got about a 100lbs in my 75 and i am satisfied with that, but you probably would want around 150lbs ish really up to you and you can calculate how many pounds of sand you will need on this web site. for a 2in sand bed on my 75g was 61lbs and if you want to just get the rock first he sent me a sample of his sand when i bought 25lbs of rock from him thats why i bought more but everybody likes different things hope this helps

in regards to the coralife 125 , i think you would be way better of with the coralife 250 ss. 125 imo would be too small. i have the 125 and ive found it to be very easy and dependable to use and control. produces very good skimmate.

If you have the budget for controllable then go for it, thats the worst thing in this hobby is trying to find a deal or to take shot cuts just to buy or upgrade again down the road. Go with Koralia 3's and 4's your livestock will love them.
