    Hi again,

As some of you may have seen I have a new 20g tank that seems to have a live in resident!

It was obviously with the LR as are many other things which I'm yet to photo but would just like to know exactly what it is.

I think it is astrea but not sure.

I also have a large centipede type organism that keeps popping it's head out but I'm too slow for piccies! Ideas?

    Heres the snail.

looks like it. Free cleaner :cheesy:. The centipede is probably a bristle worm and is more than likely good.

What color is the worm? Probably just a bristle, but if its a fire worm, you might wanna get him outta there.. I bought one of those snails for 2 bucks! Nice little freebie there my man.

It's behaves about like an Astraea (grazes on algae), but it's actually a Trochus, or Top Shell. There are about half a dozen species that look almost alike from the bottom, but it's probably Trochus radiatus. I agree with the others on your white worm most likely being a harmless bristle worm.

    Trochus radiatus

    Cheers,
