New South Wales

A man walked into the groceries section of a Supermarket and asked for half a lettuce.

The boy working on the shelves as a stacker told him that they only sold whole lettuces.

The man was insistent that the boy asked his manager about this matter.

Walking into the stockroom,the boy called to the manager "Some twonk wants to buy half a lettuce".

As he finished his sentence,the boy turned to find the man was standing right behind him,so he added "And this gentleman kindly offered to buy the other half."

The manager approved the deal and the man went on his way.

Later,the manager found the boy and said "I was impressed with the way you got yourself out of that situation earlier.

We like people who think on their feet here. Where are you from, son?"

"New South Wales, sir." the boy replied.

"Well, why did you leave New South Wales?" the manager asked.

The boy said, "Sir, there's nothing but whores and Rugby players there."

"Really," said the manager "My wife is from New South Wales!"

The boy replied "No kidding, what position did she play?

 

Now thats a classic , hows the weather in sunny melbourne jonno want some rain??

It's been raining quite a bit actually, and now we are getting a desalination plant and some water diverted from the Goulburn river we should be alright. That is if we can wait 4 years. Don't you love election years

We get water restrictions on 1st July and our dams are full.Work that one out.
