    I call them the Submarine snails cause they dive into the sand and come up when they smell food.
    As stated above I don't feed them, as they will devour any uneaten food in the tank.
    Cerith snails will stir up the sand and consume Cyano

    Same here! They KNOW when it's feeding time. They magically appear out of the sand searching for food as soon as the first bit goes into the tank. We call them the zombies - they all burst out of the sand at once. It's actually kind of freaky looking!
