Nanocube mod options

Just wondering what are the most common mods for a nano cube 28?

I have a media basket from Media Baskets.
Planning on replacing the CF bulb with Boost leds.
Going to put in 2 Maxi Jet 1200 for returns running on stock wave maker.

I thought about taking out the false wall and drilling an overflow and return, but that would defeat the purpose of AIO.

What other mods are there for a nano cube? Skimmer maybe?

 

skimmer (heard bad things about the JBJ nano cube skimmer) look into the hydor slim skim nano!fuges also are upgrades on nano cubes to.

 

For the skimmer I recommend the Tunze 9002, you can get the Intank collection cup so the cup does not hit the lid when you open the tank.

I run chemipure elite and purigen in the media basket.

 

I was looking at Eshop's HOB 100gph for the skimmer. Any input on either the Tunze or Eshop? Also, where would it go? In one of the return chambers?

 

The Tunze goes in the center chamber, which presents a problem by displacing the media basket. I know not about the Eshop skimmer, but the Tunze is great skimmer, very quiet.
