    I bought it because I am planning to purchase a 75gal in the near future before it out grows the current one.

    I don't see a brown film on it. Just in case could I do a "fresh water dip"? How does that work? Just put it in some purified water?

    To be honest, I don't think a freshwater dip would do anything for it. It really didn't look that healthy, do the polyps ever come out? Maybe just count it as a loss and a learning experience.
