YouTube - My Salt Water Fish Tank
Here's a quick video of my tank. My main 2 questions are what type of worm is that, and what on earth is that tiny orange thing that just looks like tiny pieces of thread that just moves around? I'm pretty sure it's bristle worms. I'm like infested. They always come out when I feed the fish, they're all in my rocks. Seems like they've multiplied.

A coral banded shrimp will help take care of those bristle worms.

Not sure on your other orange things. Can't get a close enough look.

Your flower pot doesn't look to good, what are you feeding it?

Nice tank so far, but IMO you need more flow. You should be able to see that frogspawn or torch flow some. A 6 line wrasse or shrimp will help with those worms.

I have a skimmer and filter. There was no water flow because I have to unplug them when I feed the fish. Otherwise the food goes everywhere. I had just fed them and hadn't plugged it back in. They're usually nice and flowy :) Thanks for everyone's suggestions!

When I bought it they said it was hammer coral, it usually seems big and happy. It's just that one goniopora coral that's having problems.

Another question is that i've tried keeping shrimp before, but for some reason they havent survived! I had one fire shrimp, 2 or 3 cleaner shrimp, and a peppermint shrimp. I don't know why shrimp don't work in my tank, I don't want to kill anymore shrimp! It sucks cuz I love shrimp, there's so cute :)

Shrimp are intolerant of stray voltage. Do you have a ground probe or have you checked for voltage?

How do you check for voltage? I don't think there's any! Oh and what does IMO mean? Sorry for all the questions

    IMO In My Opinion

somewhere on this forum is a list of the most commonly used shorthand. Most are standard on the net, but some are specific to the hobby. Worth reading.

    Voltage Check

Using a Multimeter / Voltmeter, Set to AC Volts, Insert the positive lead into the water of the tank, Insert the Negative lead into a Ground plug of your outlet or power strip. Everything must be running at the time of testing. Should read Zero volts.
