i was looking into getting mushroom corals, and was wondering on the where i should put them in the tank... i am thinking that they enjoy lower current and lower in the tank, is this right? i had some rico's before put they eventually kind of faded away. i had those two sets on different rocks at the bottom of the tank, kind of shaded.

96 watt power compact power quad
    15 gallon all glass
80 rio powerhead (i think, i forget the exact model)

    FL ricordia=high light
    Yuma ricordia=lower light
plain old mushroom=any light other than NO. I have some under 400wMH and they look great.

Your ricoddia may also have faded if you were not feeding them.
I can tell a difference in size with mine depending how how long I go between feeding all my corals.

some of my shrooms don't seem to like alot of light , others seem to love it- I find it's a good idea to start a little lower in the tank and then work up to see how they respond-
