What's the word on mixing bulb/spectrums in one tank. I have a 110 that I will be hanging 2x 250 MH over by the end of the week.
I am interested in trying out these dual spectrum 10K/20K's and also want the fail safe Phoenix 14K.

Is anyone on here running two different spectrums on each side of their aquarium?

i take car of the tank here at penn state.
we have 4 halides over it...
    |10K| |14K| |14K| |10K|

they come on systematically to simulate sun rise and sun set...
its a large tank and from the outside it is SO MUCH light that you cant tell at all!
but since you only have two halides, a much smaller tank, and a transition from 20 to 14 id say your tank will have a gradual but slightly noticible gradient of color... bright blue on the 20K to the 14K blue on the other side

however if you populate it with corals in the right fashion it will be less noticeable
