    I feel for ya. I knew Melafix would cause my skimmer to go nuts, but I didn't realize how bad it would be. I had to do many water changes before my skimmer evened back out. It even caused a fire!!! When my skimmer cup overflowed and water got into my power strip. Thank goodness I was in the room when it happened.

    It did cure my fish though, so I would use it again. But it can definitely be frustrating!!
