    most puffers are even braver then that. i had a puffer that allowed me to touch its back.

    ummmm... no grunts except for when i had him out of water when putting him in the tank, but, he has made clicling noises when he is shredding a piece shrimp too big for him to swallow.

    He's still coming out of his shell, I expect to get a good relationship with him like you had with your puffer eventually. Also, considering dog-face or porcupine.
