Mag7 Replacement Impeller

So, a snail got into my sump and broke the impeller on my return pump.

1. would it be Ok to run the pump with the impeller how it is now, until I get a new one shipped to me?






2. Also, can I use the newer style impeller for the mag7 in my pump? Or do I have to stick to the original?

What happens when you run it with the 2 on it? does it make noise from being off center? Does it pump any water?

Try it, get a bucket or a bathtub and let it set.

 

OK, it's running now. It rattles a bit...pretty annoying, but it will work until I get the impeller.

 

I just put it back into the sump.

 

Yeah thatll work too. lol i didnt know if you had one ready or not yet. Well keep an eye on it, but def look at getting a new one put in. asap.

 

I would contact danner to see if the new impeller version will work.
