I have everything hooked up in my tank!! good news, bad news I don't think I am getting the proper flow from my mag 7. Maybe its just to small for tank ? Its on a 125 RR with a 40 breeder sump (28 gallonsish) What do you guys think this is the flow coming out of one of my returns: Don't mind my sand storm! lol

What pumps are you using for circulation?

As long as your getting water to the main tank, your fine imo, especially with mp40's in there, dont sweat it.

Your not looking to use your return to move water, you want it kinda opposite, you want contact time with the water in your sump to be on the slow end, so your macro algae in the fuge and skimmer to filter as much water as possible before being sent back... your mp40s will move water believe me

Take a gander at my thread for the 75, i have a flow test video and youll get an idea of what it does to mine...(pg16)

Will do thanx, just expected a little more pressure i guess. Makes sense though to keep it slow hadn't thought of it in that perspective:)
