Which one would you like better:

Long but thinner tank? or Shorter but deeper?

I've been looking around for 120 to 180 gallons.

    Thanks

longer, the longer and wider from front to back the better it is IME easier to aquascape and work in/on.

the deeper themore you have to spend for lights, harder to get in

    just my 2 cents

Longer is always better if you have the place to put it.

Thank you for your reply. I am sorry, I meant "deep" from front to back, and not the height. ;D

For example, I am thinking between (LxWxH)
    72x24x24
    or
    60x30x24

I thought I've read somewhere that wider (front to back) is better for coral aquascaping.

Personally, I would trade height or length for more width; I would not, however, trade height for length. :D
