So I just recently replaced all the membranes and filters on my old Coralife RO/DI unit. I got all of the stuff including a flow regulator from Spectrapure. I am very happy with my purchase and it is like I have a whole new unit. The middle clear canister is leaking. At first it was just a drop or two and now it is a little worse. I took the unit down teflon taped it and that made it worse. I have unsrcrewed and screwed the thing back a half a dozen time thing maybe the carbon block wasn't seating right. I read somewhere to use vaseline on the threads, can any one confirm? Thanks in advance!

I would not use Vaseline. You would want to use a food grade Silicone Lubricant.

There is one on the Spectrapure canisters, and I think that would be the problem as well.

The O ring is on the inside of the container and doesn't seem to be pinched or cut. I will go to HD and check the o ring situation. Thanks

A little coating of silicone grease usually seals them up. You might check the sumps or canisters for hairline cracks, not always apparent but they do happen.
