    My Valentini is VERY happy that this snail isnt reef safe...if he had a tongue that could lick his chops, he would of been doing it when he saw me coming his way to throw that snail into the aggressive tank..lol

    i have soem snails that have a proboscus that move quickly. are they bad? these remided me of them but he shells dont look right.

    This is what that stupid snail was trying to eat!...if you read this please be sure to tell your reefing friends!...I had a buddy that had these in his tank too, so I called him immediately

    hope mine dont go after my maxima. they have a proboscis so im kinda worried.

    I am in the same boat, but I have about 25 in my tank. Mattheuw1 and I got our snails from the same person.

    All 4 of my clams have had no issues.

    I do feed my tank pretty well though.

    all i know if that snail was trying to go all buffet style on my clam...luckily i was home watching...i would have been QUITE upset if my brand new clam got eaten the same day it went into the tank...by a snail not to mention..lol
