    Yep I was thinking about that. I plan to put this fixture on another 4' in my living room in the future and upgrade to the one that comes with the PC's and actinics. Im getting this one next month for my birthday;)

    That's pretty cool, and a lot like what I have. The one I have is just smaller, and a lot less powerful than that one, and it's a retrofit (so I could stuff it in my canopy).

    Hey Trini, nice see my own people out there. What do you think of the Skilter 400, I was thinking of getting one because I constantly have problem with my skimmer?

    I don't know much about halides but have been learning as much as I can so I can upgrade and one thing I have found is SPS bulbs are supposed to be awesome. I have seen a few people on here rave about them and the owners of our big aquarium wholesale distributor is the same. I have seen them on her tanks and they look great! So that is something to consider when changing out the bulbs. Maybe Tangster or someone will chime in on that
