    I'll probably put my ca reactor on so the levels will be constant. I've never had pH issues before buy I'm thinking that I'll still wait a while to let the sand mature...

    Man, once you have a stable tank it's such a pita to have to wait for a new one to reach that level also!

    Yes...you can use "Cycle" or this one; Bacter Vital - 6 oz.
    to speed up the and stablize the tank.

    when coraline algea starts to grow it will be fine to add your hard corals

    Maybe not. What if Nitrate was 60 ppm.?

    well there you go if the water is coming out of your main tank then the params should be perfect and cycled rock doesn't give off ammonia or nitrite so may test with a frag for cpl days see how it looks but it should be fine.
