I am fairly new to the saltwater scene, but the other day I was at a friends house and noticed his Snowflake Damsel rubbing against his bubble coral. I do not know why, nor know if this is a trait for these types of fishes. Can anyone tell me why this type of behavior? THanks guys. (please forgive the picture quality, I was ill prepared.)

Its building up its immunity to the stinging cells of the bubble coral
so that it can reside in the safety afforded by the coral

Its hosting the coral or the coral is hosting it - (not sure which way round is correct )

Steve is correct. The clown is taking the nem as its host. But people say the fish is the host. I think the correct term is the first way I said it.

Yeah, the coral is the host, the fish is the hostee. People always say it wrong, though.
