    Found this on the back of one of the snails I just picked up at the LFS today. It appears to have a foot and mouth similar to a snail. The shell on its back is pretty much flat with a slight concave.

    Stomatella is the first thing that comes to mind based on the description.

    Possibly a limpet, a picture of the shell from the top would help.

    Really hard to get good pictures. I am thinking the limpet is what it is. Are these reef safe?

    Some limpets are some aren't. Pull it take a pic from the top pagojoe will be able to tell you from there.
