It sounds like a deal but if you wait a little while you could find a better one its just up to you. I got my 75 with the stand sump and some rock for $100 but the tank is really scratched. going to use it as a sump when I upgrade.

Off hand I would say yes, however, it must be scratch free.

I got my 55 with stand and crappy stock lights for $100 on Craigslist. He had about 1/4 full of water and 2 gold fish in it. He bought it new 1 month before I got it.

If it is in good shape then yes its sounds good to me. Ask him if he ever used copper meds. Not that they always tell the truth.

If it's 2 x used (read used from the previous) I dont know if its worth it. You can get a tank new for around $40 and the rest of the smaller tank items wont come up to much over another $50 or so new. So for a little bit mroe you get the comfort of new equipment vs used that you dont know how well it was cleaned or maintained. A good up front inspection and yeah it COULD be worth it.

id say its worth it to spend a little more for new than save a little with the used and have tons of coral and fish die because he had like bleach in it or something. just saying. i would inspect it thoroughly before buying.
