So for the past month I have had an outbreak of these guys in my tank. I know the brown ones are bad news for the home aquaria but I have the clear ones and I cant seem to find anything on-line about them! I clean the glass and in minutes they are back all over the glass. Is there something that eats them?

Don't think there are too many inhabitants you can put in there to eat them.

I feel they are fairly common in reef tanks - and they are cyclic in their population density.

We had a major explosion of them when we first emerged from our cycle and have not seen the little guys for almost 10 months- we have started notice a few more in the past month again.

To my knowledge they will simply die off or become planktonic food for filter feeders.

The clear one rarely survive in our systems for some reason and normally die out or go through cycles as described above.

Wow, maybe work on cutting back your nutrients to let them die off.
