Hydro Koralia SmartWave

I have one as well and did have the clicking noise initially. Now I only barely notice it on one of my pumps and not the other. The one that is still making the noise is slowly getting quieter as well. I have two Evo 750s plugged into mine and it works great.

 

I have 1 since a week after it came out and it still makes a clicking noise. Not to loud either just annoying.

 

I'm the budget guy also, so I'm looking at one...BUT, in regards to the Koralias making noise when hooked to a wave maker, or just cycling on and off, well, thats the impeller slapping back and forth trying to seat in the cylinder hole...a small piece of tubular plastic will fix this...I use a piece of red stir stick..measure the slack and snip a piece off and put it on the top of the shaft...might have to do it a few times for the perfect size...so if ya run out of stir stick...have another drink !

 

Wow! This is all very encouraging! Guess I'm gonna have to invest what's a little noise when it comes to some neato wave action. Lol thanks for all the responses!
