hydor smartwave controller

I was thinking about purchasing this also. On a related note.. Has anyones koralias turned on in reverse?? Mine has been doing this every so often after feeding.. very annoying

 

I read it has to do with a bushing that pops out, there was a thread on it. Call Hydor, I read that you should call them and they can help you.

 

After a year of using a wave maker with hydors, I all of a sudden had 2 of them running in reverse every now and then. I dunno.

 

well i guess you can use other brands on this too. i have already made the purchase. just bought 1 koralia 2800. planning to use other brands too as it will be used on two tanks. will be purchasing tunze and some chineese brands like SOBO and boyu. try with chineese coz all we need is flow as they all work on on-off method.

 

The hydors will turn in reverse if the rubber bumpstop on the inside of the cover has come loose. Check to make sure it is still there. It might have fallen off into your tank somewhere.
