I am looking at a HOB Refugium from Doctor Foster and Smith. I have a 46 Gallon Bow and I am thinking about adding the Large model refugium, it is 25 inches wide 12 inches tall and 4/1/2 inches deep. I have enough live sand to add to it and I will add micro algae, like chaetao. This model comes with a powerhead and runs around 150.00. Is this model good enough to provide enough filtration for my aquarium? Or do i still need to run my wet/ dry sump?

since you already have a wet dry/sump, I would convert that to a refugium. it would probably cost less and you would have more space to work with. if you look in the do it yourself forum, im sure you can get some good ideas on how to go about it. JMHO
