Different kinds of marcro algae and SW plants. They help with filtration and getting rid of nitrates, phosphates, and excess nutrients; and are also completely natural hitching posts for seahorses. :)

A broader spectrum light would be ideal, but any green plants will grow on pretty much anything. I just use a compact fluorescent for my refugium and my green stuff flourishes.

You can just buy macro at an LFS. Look for chaeto, it's the easiest IMO

you only need planted tank lights(reef would work too), for the wattage probably 2-3wpg. i wouldn't go much higher(or you will get bad algae), i wouldn't go lower then 2 because you probably wont have enough light to get the algae to effectively grow.

if the seahorse go in the fuge i wouldn't use chaeto i would use caluerpa taxifolia
