Yesterday I noticed about a dozen of these small anemones on my LR. I have searched the web for pictures resembling them and the closest species I found is a Strawberry or Club tipped anemone. However the strawberry anemone is a cold water species and it seems unlikely that they could survive in my 79F waters. They behave similar to my BTA (outstretched during light hours and shrivled up at night.) The piece of LR that they are on came from a BTA only tank. At first I thought it was BTA spawn but that also seems unlikely. Your expert opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are right or on the right track. Good luck hope they survive.

Thanks! That is def. what they are, now that I have a positive ID. My only concern is that there are so many of them. Upon closer inspection, it would seem that there is at least 2 dozen of them that I had not noticed before. Are these guys going to multiply and take over my tank?
