Hi all

I started this hobby in Dec. of 2005. I got a 12 gal. tank for Christmas. I loved it so much I got a 6 gal tank for Valentines day 2009.

When I first started I joined a forum similar to this and they gave a lot of great advise, but it seems to have fizzled out so I had to find a new place so here I am.

If I knew how to post pics I would. I'm sure I will figure it out eventually. Cause everyone likes pics!!

I did it, but I don't know what I did.

That was tank 12 gal. about a year old.

 

not sure if I did it right, but if I did this is my tank about 2 years ago.

We moved shortly after that and I got a new tank. I had an Aquapod, but it was falling apart, so I got a 12 gal Nano-cube.

 

Then I got a 6 gal nano-cube

 

but now my 12 gal tank is having issues with I thikn GHA, not quite sure so I took all my coral and rock out that wasn't covered and put it in my 6 gal. (My coral ane NOT happy right now). And I am trying to get rid of the algae in my 12 gal..

I think water flow and old lights were the problem. I usually change my lights every year in Feb. but I read somewhere if your lights are cheap to change them every 6 months, I'm guessing mine were cheap. Plus it didn't help that my pump wasn't flowing right.
