You don't have an airstone or skimmer or anything putting oxygen in the water. You could use a powerhead. Point it towards the top to agitate the surface and get more oxygen in the water.

How old is your carbon (assuming you use it)? I'm wondering if some sort of air-related contaminate got into the tank..?

They have both died so I replaced my carbon in my fiter and will re test my water tomorow and see what if anything changes

RIP fishy...I would definatly invest in a small protein skimmer and some live rock for that tank. I think your temp is fine. In fact , one of my tanks is constantly 81 degrees.

Hi Pip - sorry about your loss... I wish I would have seen this sooner as it sounds exactly like what I went through early in my tank.

Those fluval filters are not good for saltwater tanks - it's extra cool that they are so expensive too. I dont know WHY they don't tell you that (besides selling more), but they are a closed system and don't allow for enough gas exchange. They work great for freshwater though. After my kill off... I went and got a wet/dry and my new fish have been happy for months now. (plus I added a lot of water movement).

The powerhead will certainly help with oxygen... many of them will allow you to add an air hose if you need to suppliment oxygen.
