im guessing that nori is different than regular seaweed ehh.
my tank has dual 3inch overflow bulkheads and as loud as they are, i assumed that was enough agitaion for gas exchange, airation ect. the suface of the water is open and turbulent

nori is simply dried seaweed, smoked in some cases fish wont usually wont touch the smoked stuff.

put a airstone in the dt would be more effective. but you could start adding garlic to its foods, fish like it and it helps there immune system(i feel like i recommend garlic to like 5 different people today lol)

this might sound stupid but it really looks like hes just sleeping. he is under a ledge out of the light now and his color looks good. me and my girlfriend had a party last night. would the lights staying on all night keep him up all night and upset him, or mabey he just had too much to drink?

it could especially if it was the tank lights, also all the people could upset him. this may sound stupid but tangs can recognize people, and are more comfortable around the usual ones.

i didnt leave the tank lights on but he was swimming out in the open looking at everyone all night. He always comes out when the room lights come on at night.
