    i dont want to add live rock to my tank because i dont want to introduce any bad things that hitchhike on them so i need to now how to make my dry dead rock into liverock and i already got my tank setup with argonate live sand SO what do i need to do

    Put the rock in a plastic container, fill with salt water, correct sg, add some flow for gas exchange, throw in some fish food and let it cycle.

    can i add the rock to my tank and let it cycle in there cause my tanks only been up for a day and id like to cycle it all together

    FYI you may wanna add a nice bag of carbon to help with the stinky smell that sometimes comes along with cooking rock ;)

    I am assuming the O.P'S rock is clean baserock.If it is LR that has been previously used in a fishtank I would make sure its bleached,rinsed,and dryed. Adding stinky deadrock would be silly.;)
